Ruth joined Sweetwood Capital in 2015 and currently serves as the Head of Back and Middle Office Operations.

Prior to joining Sweetwood Capital, Ruth worked for 17-years in senior positions at Oddo Group in Paris, France. Oddo Group is a leading French investment bank and asset management company with over €61bn of assets under management.

 

Ruth started her career at Oddo in 1998 in the Compliance and Risk Control department where she was responsible for settlement activity with third party custodian banks. In 2003 Oddo Group created the ‘Oddo Services’ department, which offers a complete range of external back-office services to an international clientele of private banks, asset management groups and life insurers. At the same time, Ruth was promoted to the position of Middle Office Manager of Oddo Services, overseeing a team of five people. 

 

Under Ruth’s stewardship, Middle-Office Services was responsible for liaising between 30 or so asset management companies and Oddo’s Back-Office for providing the following services: mutual fund accounting, global custody and clearing, reporting and back-office tools for portfolio management companies.

Ruth initially started her career as an accountant and graduated with a degree in Accounting and Management from CUGI Paris in 1982.
